What an awesome first night. We had fifteen kids show up and I think six or seven of them were friends that were invited from the returning kids of last year. This is a huge encouragment for the staff for a couple reasons. Number one, because it shows that God is working in these kids hearts and working through them to reach out into their community. Second, it shows to us that the kids love coming and want their friends to be part of it as well.

Its great to see the children reaching out into their community to invite their friends to come hear about Jesus with us. It is so cool, to think that God is using these young kids to bring the Gospel to families who may otherwise never heard about it.

Please be praying for these kids, pray that God will working in their hearts to see that He is more amazing and awesome than what the world says is the “latest and greatest, must have.” Pray that through these kids the gospel will reach more and more families and chidlren that never would have heard about Jesus before this. Please pray for growth, not just in the amount of the kids that attend, but for everyone involved to be growing to be more and more like Jesus everyday.

Also please pray for us(the staff), we ask that you pray for our health. With this much interaction with kids the odds of us getting sick goes through the roof. Pray that we learn more about the Gospel and presenting it to children everyday. Also, that God continues to show us fun and creative ways to display Jesus to the kids through games, music, and lessons.

Thank you so much for your support, love and prayers,

The Boulevards Team

Wisdom requires that we cancel Boulevards tonight, since the forecast looks so bad. But we are sure that this will give you some extra family time, which will not go to waste.

If you have any questions feel free to call Geoff Wright (310.0431) or Josh Foster (714.0985).

By God’s grace there will be Boulevards next week (Dec. 18th). They will then take another week off for Christmas (Dec. 25th).

The Sunday school teachers of WBC and myself are quite excited to have a party for the children in Sunday school.

Our hope is to connect in a personal way with each of your children. Our Father blesses us with wonderful gifts and your children are precious gifts made in the image of God and created to know Him. Our joy is to come along side each of you and encourage and share the hope of Jesus with your child, trusting Christ to transform them daily into His image.

The “Harvest Hearts” party will be on Saturday, November 15 from 11:00-2:00pm at Windham Baptist Church. We encourage you to have your children invite their friends to participate with them. The ages will be 3 year olds to 4th graders.

Our get together will have fun games and activities centered on ‘thankful’ hearts. Lunch will be provided for your kids.  We’d love to have the kids dress up as Indians or Pilgrims. (This is not mandatory…just fun and festive!)  Please contact the office for details.

Praising God for His bountiful blessings,

Elisa Dunfee
Children’s Sunday school coordinator

Sunday school teachers:
Brittany Deinstadt     3 to 5 year olds

This Thursday, October 30, Boulevards B.C. will not meet together at the church building. Boulevards B.C. is not just a program that happens 5:45-7:30 every Thursday night, it’s about knowing Jesus every day wherever we are. When we know Jesus everyday and everywhere that means it can’t be canceled. This isn’t supposed to mean that our learning about Jesus is cancelled, it only means that we won’t meet together this week.

Instead of meeting together at the church we stay at home and learn with our families about Jesus. This is an opportunity for the parents involved with Boulevards B.C. to have an extra opportunity to teach their children as you do every day, and for the children at boulevards to teach their parents what they’re learning.

Thank you very much, see you soon,

Geoffrey
